We support multiple mature platforms—including local, subscription-free options and those that leverage cloud functionality when needed. During your consultation, we’ll help you pick the one that fits your needs best. 


 Only for initial setup, updates, or remote access if enabled. For the most part, automations run locally, meaning the core functions of your smart home continue even if your internet goes down. 


Devices are not automatically included in all packages, but we can certainly supply them or guide you in selecting compatible ones. You’re free to supply your own devices too. 


 Absolutely. If your existing devices are compatible with your chosen platform, we’ll integrate them during setup. We’ll also review their compatibility during your consultation.


 Each package includes:

  • A smart home controller (or configuration of your own) 
  • Installation, configuration, and automation setup 
  • Dashboard(s) and interface set up to match your needs 
  • An orientation session so you’re comfortable making changes over time 

The exact number of automations, devices, or features depends on the package you choose.


Yes — we can configure your system remotely, making it possible to support clients across Australia without needing to visit in person.


Yes. We prioritize local control and privacy-first architecture. Your data stays in your home, not on distant servers. Where cloud integrations are used (for voice assistants, external APIs, etc.), we carefully manage security and transparency. 


Certainly. All platforms we support are scalable. Whether you want more automations, sensors, or integrations, you’re free to expand. We’ll help you do so confidently. 


No — our core setup and support come with no lock-in or recurring charges. Optional features (like secure cloud fallback or advanced integrations) may have associated costs, but only if you choose them. 


Our goal is to leave you with a smart home that runs smoothly and gives you the confidence to make changes yourself.

  • Home Assistant setups – Because Home Assistant is community-driven and open source, it offers the lowest-cost entry into smart home automation. However, it does not come with official support. We’ll complete the setup and make sure everything is working when we hand it over, but any changes you make later or issues caused by updates will be your responsibility to manage. 
  • Other supported platforms – If you prefer a solution that includes ongoing technical support, we can recommend and set up a platform that provides this. These options may cost more upfront but include the reassurance of official support channels. 

This way, you can choose: maximum cost savings with Home Assistant, or greater peace of mind with a platform that comes with structured support.
